On June 11th 2013, the City Commission approved an agreement between the City of Dania Beach and Broward County for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) project known as the 38th Year - Wrice Center Green Community Annex in the amount of $242,279.00 for this project. |

Description of Action |
|
The CDBG funding will be used to make improvements to the Community Garden and the vacant lot south of the Community Center. The improvements will consist of outdoor community space including, but not limited to, one (1) gazebo type structure, gardening work areas, storage lockers, bike rack(s), a cistern, fencing, solar lighting, a community notice board, and various building/gardening materials to construct sample gardens. When completed, the project shall be utilized as an urban garden/passive park with public meeting space. This project is being planned and designed in coordination with the CRA. |
